Oxymoron

Was writing my script tonight and the word ‘Oxymoron’ came up, as a result this little bundle of words flew at me

You’re acting naturally
When you’re alone together
As the frost burns your hands
In the sunniest weather
It’s a spontaneous plan
When you’re living in the moment
Weighing up the options
When only choice is atonement

Your inconsequential actions
Have consequences at last
You’re moving through time
Yet living in the past
When silence speaks volumes
It shatters and screams
You’ve lost all perspective,
But you’re living a dream

Blog Poetry Scribbles

I’ve been an avid reader and scribbler for years but only recently started thinking about publishing my work.
I’ve always enjoyed writing and have, since 2008, been producing scripts for theatre as my main focus of writing, but always scribbling poems, songs and short stories for fun, and/or catharsis. I’m also a keen sketcher and sketchnoter.
